ANCHORAGE, Alaska -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers released its Draft Environmental Impact Statement today concerning the current Bristol Bay mining plan proposed by Pebble Limited Partnership. Along with 3,000-plus-pages of documents, the Corps of Engineers announced it will open a 90-day public comment period, beginning March 1, to collect input.
