Bristol Bay needs your help.  If something isn’t done soon to help preserve Bristol Bay’s incredible resources it could be turned into an industrial mining zone in the next few years. We created the Red Gold Action Center to give people like you the tools you need to use this award winning movie to help educate the public and grow support for Bristol Bay conservation. Please also consider becoming an official member of the Bristol Bay Volunteer Task Force to receive free updates, find out how to contact your elected officials, and help us protect Bristol Bay for future generations.

The possibilities for using Red Gold to recruit supporters are endless so feel free to get creative.  From showing the movie to friends in your living room to hosting a full blown event in a theater, one thing is certain, every hour that you invest in your showing will bring us one step closer to protecting Bristol Bay

Time and Place: Choose a time and place for your house party.  You should think about: churches, libraries, theatres, and your living room.

Advertise: Make sure you announce the event at least two weeks in advance. When describing the event be sure to tell people there will be discussion and an opportunity to help protect Bristol Bay after the showing.

Get a Copy of the Film: You can obtain a copy of Red Gold from Set up the Event: Make sure you have a sign-in sheet near the entrance. Set up a table with Fact Sheets and make copies of the action for people to take at the event. http://www.feltsoulmedia.com/products/

Introduction and Screening: Once everyone has arrived start with a short introduction to the film that tells your audience how it fits in with the campaign to protect Bristol Bay.  Encourage people to stick around after the movie ends to do there part to protect this magnificent area.
