Trout Unlimited Launches Bristol Bay Ad Campaign in Alaska

Trout Unlimited has launched a media campaign in Alaska aimed at raising public awareness about the threats to Bristol Bay from the proposed Pebble mine. Television, radio, print and online ads will run over the next several months, primarily in the Alaska "Railbelt," including Fairbanks, Anchorage and the Kenai Peninsula, and in the capital, Juneau.

The ads focus on the natural beauty, rich salmon productivity, wildlife habitat and existing fishing industry jobs that could be lost if this massive sulfide mine gets built in Bristol Bay's headwaters.
