Enjoy wild salmon? Come enjoy tasty salmon bites prepared by the 2010 Salmon Cook-Off champ and local foods advocate Clayton Jones this Saturday September 15, at the South Anchorage Farmers Market.

Delicious salmon recipes will be available featuring local and regional chefs  and also pick up information on how you can help protect and savor Bristol Bay salmon. Don’t forget to grab some fun coloring pages for the kids to help future anglers identify their catch. Vote with your fork and celebrate Bristol Bay as an important local and wild source of food!

And we haven’t forgotten the kids either. We’ll feature a salmon coloring booth all day and a face painting station 11 a.m. – 1p.m.
