Frontline takes on the Pebble controversy on Tuesday, July 24 – please tune in

We are incredibly excited that Frontline, one of the heaviest hitters in American journalism, is turning its lens on the controversy over Pebble Mine.  "Alaska Gold," will be broadcast on PBS stations around the country Tuesday, July 24 at 10 p.m. (in most markets).

We hope you'll watch the program and can check your local PBS schedule here. This hour-long documentary by some of America's best journalists will tackle one of the most important conservation issues of our time. You’ll see some of Bristol Bay’s expansive scenery, meet the people who will be affected most and delve into why the region is fighting so hard against placing the largest open-pit mine in the country right on top of the headwaters of the world’s largest, most valuable wild sockeye salmon fishery.

Check out the trailer here and please be sure to tune in on Tuesday.
(Also repeats Wednesday night in some markets.)
